Hello!  I’m Ocean W, the man behind this blog.  I launched this site because I had a strong desire to share with others my unique insight on an array of topics ranging from investing to side hustles, SEO, VPN, web hosting service providers, and so much more.  I guess you could say I’m a “data guy”.  I love information and my unquenchable thirst for it is what drives me to stay in-the-know about the latest and greatest in my areas of interest. 

I have a passion for learning, which has led me down an interesting path through many vastly different territories over the past twenty years. Thanks to my professional and academic backgrounds, I’ve developed an extremely diverse skillset that spans from engineering to economics, finance, analytics, digital marketing, SEO and even the food and beverage industry.  I have completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 program, Google Digital Marketing certification course and I am also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).  My curiosity and tenacity are definitely reflected in my sundry study and work history.

When I realized how helpful my combined experience might be in relaying valuable information to others, I started this platform to do exactly that.  I look forward to sharing my perspective through thorough book reviews and exclusive, comprehensive comparisons of various online tools, apps, websites, and services.  With my history of researching and analyzing companies from both investment and AML /KYC perspectives, I’m able to break it down for others in a more digestible and understandable way.
